Our Story
Resonant Voice started its humble beginnings as a small singing studio in the spare bedroom of founder Freya’s house in her hometown of Newcastle, Australia. That spare bedroom quickly became a safe space where many students explored their voices. For 5 years, this spare bedroom saw dreams being realised and achievements being met, as well as providing comfort and security for each student. But in 2020, when Freya was offered a scholarship to become a voice and music theatre researcher at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, that spare bedroom grew and turned into an exclusively online performing arts studio. While we stuck with our roots and continued with singing lessons, we knew that there was more we had to do in order to provide quality vocal tuition for all. Enter: Resonant Voice Online!

Our Mission
At Resonant Voice Online, we are incredibly passionate about the voice. Our goal for this platform is to provide as much as we can to those who are just as passionate, but may not have the resources deemed necessary in the current industry to pursue vocal tuition. We know that understanding the voice can be exhausting, with contradicting and out-of-date information being bounced between teachers and online. Through our experiences as vocal practitioners, teachers and researchers, we hope to give you the materials you will need to start or continue your singing journey in a safe and smart way.
